Scalextric track C8201 radius 1 hairpin curve

One of the best ways to spice up the racing on your Scalextric track layout is to add a Scalextric C8201 radius 1 hairpin curve.  This piece of track has the tightest radius of any and turns through 90 degrees.

Scalextric cars have to really slow down to take this corner which gives 3 points of skill; when to brake, how fast can the car take the corner and when can I accelerate.  This is just like real cars and no strong Neodymium magnet will save the day if the car is going too fast.
Used in conjunction with the Scalextric C8246 Side Swipe track pieces the hairpin corner is a great addition to any Scalextric layout.
