Scalextric slot cars with tail lights and brake lights

We have developed a small electronic circuit that controls 2 red LEDs.  What’s special about this circuit is that when connected to power the LEDs illuminate at a low level.  Then, when the power is removed the LEDs illuminate much more brightly.



This means the LEDs make great brake and tail lights for slot cars.  Simply connect the power wires to the motor electrical connections and mount the LEDS to the body. Job done, your Scalextric car or slot car now has stop and tail lights.  Simply brilliant for night races.
